Alumni and friends of the UW-Madison Farm and Industry Short Course (FISC) program are invited to register today for the annual reunion event. The program will be Saturday, January 24 at the Coliseum Bar, Upstairs Event Room, 232 East Olin Avenue, Madison. Schedule highlights include:
11:15 a.m. – Registration Opens
Noon – Lunch
1:00 p.m. – Awards Program
2:00 p.m. – Optional behind the scenes tour of New Holland Pavilion, Alliant Energy Center
New this year, the reunion is coordinated by a committee of volunteers from the Wisconsin Agricultural and Life Science Alumni Association (WALSAA). 2015 marks the 131st year of the FISC program and the 42nd year of WALSAA.
Registration cost is $25 if received by January 19 and $30 thereafter. Register and pay at www.walsaa.org
Farm Industry Short Course (FISC) is a one or two year production agriculture program taught during winter months when it is more convenient to leave a production ag operation. UW-Madison’s premier agriculture and life science researchers and instructors teach the courses. There are more than 6,000 program alumni to date.
