The Outstanding Agriculture Professional Award judges participants on their involvement in agriculture, leadership ability, involvement and participation in Farm Bureau and other civic and service organizations. Applicant(s) for this award must derive a majority of their income from an off-farm job. Examples would be an agriculture teacher, fertilizer salesperson, veterinarian, farm employee, agricultural writer or marketer.

Applications are due April 15. Four finalists will be selected and will participate in an interview at the WFBF Young Farmer and Agriculturist Conference, Dec. 1-3, at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells.
The 2023 winner will receive $1,500 courtesy of GROWMARK, Inc., a trip to attend the 2024 American Farm Bureau Young Farmer and Ranchers Conference, and be a guest of the 2024 WFBF YFA Conference.
