He has been a Farm Bureau member for over a decade, having served on the Fond du Lac County Farm Bureau board of directors, graduated from the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Leadership Institute, was the 2014 winner of the Collegiate Discussion Meet and the Young Farmer and Agriculturist Discussion Meet winner in 2023.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNate is no stranger to Farm Bureau, making him the perfect fit for our governmental relations team,\u201d said WFBF Executive Director of Governmental Relations Jason Mugnaini. \u201cI look forward to leveraging Nate\u2019s background in agriculture and political experience as he acclimates to his new role.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Zimdars grew up on a small hobby farm outside of Ripon, raising sheep and poultry. He attended UW-Fond du Lac and UW-Madison majoring in political science and history. Prior to joining the WFBF staff, he was a Farm Broadcaster with the MidWest Farm Report before most recently working as a machine operator for Emmi Roth Cheese in Stoughton.
