The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation’s Young Farmer and Agriculturist (YFA) program is for members between the ages of 18 and 35 years old. The YFA program offers opportunities for leadership and skills development, along with the chance for YFA members to meet and network with their peers. Many of the YFA members who have participated in the program have gone on to become active county, state and national Farm Bureau leaders, as well as respected leaders and partners in their communities.
Members are able to compete in the YFA Contests.
“The YFA program is very unique in that it caters to young professionals in production agriculture AND industry. As the agriculture industry has evolved – so has the YFA program. Everyone with a connection to agriculture, food and their community has a place with this amazing group.”
- Maria McGinnis, District 2 YFA Chair
