Grassroots:
Grassroots is a district-wide newsletter designed for voting members and includes information for each county within the district. These newsletters also receive updates from people like the District Board Director, Promotion and Education Committee and Young Farmer and Agriculturist Committee representatives. The content of this newsletter is written to give voting members a recap of past events, upcoming activities and other initiatives they should be aware of.
Grassroots is available on each county Farm Bureau webpage. Visit your county page to learn more.
*These newsletters are available to members whose county Farm Bureau is enrolled in WFBF’s County Services Program. To find out if your county is in this program contact your county Farm Bureau president.
Farm Bureau Connection:
The Farm Bureau Connection is sent to associate members in the spring and fall, with associate members receiving the June/July issue of Rural Route in between. The Farm Bureau Connection contains a message from the WFBF President, a farmer feature, updates from Rural Mutual Insurance Company and seasonal recipes. As the name suggests, this newsletter is meant to connect associate members, who are often not farmers themselves, to information about Wisconsin farmers, the agriculture community and Rural Mutual Insurance.
