The 23rd annual Wisconsin Ag Open, hosted by the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation, is set to take place on Tuesday, September 15.
The event will be held at the Oaks Golf Course in Cottage Grove. All proceeds from the golf outing support education and leadership programs through the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation, such as Ag in the Classroom, Young Farmer and Agriculturist, Promotion and Education and WFBF’s Leadership Institute
“We are excited that our event can still take place and we are committed to following COVID-19 guidelines issued by Dane County to provide a safe and enjoyable day,” said Wisconsin Ag Open coordinator Darlene Arneson. “This fundraising event is vital in supporting programs that connect consumers of all ages with information about agriculture as well as to build our future agriculture leaders.”
The Wisconsin Ag Open begins with a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m. The event will conclude with an awards program with prizes and light appetizers. This event is open to the public. Wisconsin agribusiness professionals, farmers and others who wish to support youth and educational programs are encouraged to attend.
Registration is $150 and includes 18-holes of golf, a cart, box lunch, appetizers and entry into the door prize drawing. The field is limited to 144 golfers to ensure a pleasant golfing experience.
