Mary Felzkowski of Tomahawk has been endorsed by the Volunteers for Agriculture® Committee for the 12th state Senate District. The VFA is the political action arm of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation.
Felzkowski was endorsed because of her commitment to improving roads, bridges and rural broadband access. She has also shown a commitment toward working with farmers to protect water, promote land stewardship and to be a strong advocate for Wisconsin’s rural communities.
The 12th Senate District consists of Forest, Florence, Marinette, Oconto, Langlade, Lincoln and Menominee counties along with portions of Marathon, Shawano and Vilas counties. Felzkowski is a Republican seeking candidacy in the August 11 primary election.
The Volunteers for Agriculture® Committee is comprised of 18 farmers from across the state and was formed to give farmers a more direct role in electing leaders who best represent agriculture’s interests.
