About National Ag Day:
National Ag Day is held in March each year to bring attention to and celebrate the important role agriculture plays in our daily life. Wisconsin Farm Bureau and the Wisconsin Ag in the Classroom program invite you to start a conversation about the role farmers play in providing food, fuel and fiber not only in our state, but across the nation and globe. Find out how you can join the celebration.
Nominate A Farmer:
Do you know someone who embodies this year’s National Ag Day theme, “Food brings everyone to the table”? Nominate him or her to win an award!
Finalists will be selected by the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation’s Promotion and Education Committee and will be featured on social media with the winner being selected by popular vote on Facebook. The finalists will receive Culver’s coupons with the overall winner also receiving $50 to Blain’s Farm & Fleet.
*The nomination period is now closed. Finalists will be announced by April 2.
As many Wisconsin residents are staying home and taking to social media to stay connected, share a photo of your agriculture connection with #WIAgProud on National Ag Day, March 24. Whether you are a farmer yourself, or just enjoying a home cooked meal, everyone has a connection to agriculture.
Anyone who shares a public post with #WIAgProud will be entered into a random drawing to receive a Culver’s gift certificate.
Cooking Demonstration on Facebook Live:
Note: This livestream will be rescheduled for a later date.
Join Wisconsin Farm Bureau and the Wisconsin Beef Council on Monday, March 23 at noon for a live cooking demonstration. Be sure to like WFBF and the Wisconsin Beef Council on Facebook to receive a notification when the video goes live.
