Wisconsin Farm Bureau’s Social Media and Web Policy
All who are interested in what Wisconsin Farm Bureau does is invited to engage with us on social media. We encourage dialogue and questions however request that they are conducted in a respectful manor. We respect the opinions and voices of everyone in Wisconsin agriculture, and request the same from all online participants. Please refrain from obscene or foul language or any other comments that may be considered inappropriate.
To help ensure a respectful environment, our social media sites and website will be moderated. The following types of content will immediately be deleted:
- Illegal content
- Hate speech or incitement against an ethnic, religious or a social group
- Abusive comments, harassing or bullying threats (toward individuals or organizations)
- Profanity and vulgarity
- Disclosure of anyone else’s personal and/or identifying information
- Impersonation of another user
- Admissions, submissions or registrations of those underage
- Use of licensed/copyrighted material
- Spamming/spam attacks
- Unintelligible language
- Links to questionable sites
- Unrelated commentary
- Anything that is commercial or advertising the sale of services, products, etc.
- Any other content deemed inappropriate for the general public
