Leadership Boot Camp Training Series

The Leadership Boot Camp Training Series is hosted by the Promotion and Education Committee and serves as a fast-paced, challenging, one-day training session designed to enhance leadership skills and provide education on consumer outreach. Boot Camp gives Farm Bureau members the opportunity to get leadership development training but only commit to a few hours of training.

Join the WFBF Promotion and Education Committee for Leadership Boot Camp on Saturday, October 26 at the Cranberry Country Lodge in Tomah. The topic for this year's Boot Camp will be 'Engaging Your Consumer Audience'. Attend this training to learn how to build meaningful connections with your audience, engage consumers through on-farm sales and events and effectively promote consumer-focused activities.

Registration is $20 and includes lunch, refreshments and all materials. The registration deadline is October 15. Refunds will not be issued for any registrations canceled after October 15.

Direct marketing is the strategic targeting of your customers as individuals, giving them a better understanding of your products and opportunity to develop a positive experience for both sides. We’ll explore ways to engage consumers through direct marketing of your farm products via on farm sales, online and more.

Promoting Consumer-Focused Events

Field to Fork Faceoff

A fun, interactive game-show style activity to encourage discussion about perceptions of food production. Gather a team and prepare to compete in the Field to Fork Faceoff, an agriculture version of Family Feud. All attendees will go home with a digital copy of the game to use at future events.
